This contemporary bookcase has been crafted from an old door and chowkhat (door jamb) originally sourced from Gujarat. The original door forms the backdrop and the chowkhat frames the bookcase. Many decades of wear and tear and multiple coats of paint have created a multilayered, many-hued patina.
